The styling of the rest of the 1996 Mazda Millenia is that of a standard sedan, designed with a distinctively sporty front. It is equipped with 15-inch wheels, a lighted entry system, and tinted glass.
The 1996 Mazda Millenia comes with many standard features, including a center console, air-conditioning with automatic climate control, leather steering wheel trim, power windows and door locks, an AM/FM/cassette audio system, driver and passenger front airbags, power heated mirrors, cruise control, tilt steering wheel, and a power driver’s seat. The L model comes with more luxury standard features than the base model. Equipped with leather seating, a power moonroof, leather shift knob trim, excellent upgrades, such as a Bose audio system and special factory paint, are available as well.
The 1996 Mazda Millenia brings many great standard features to the table including bucket seats, cruise control, power driver’s seat, power locks and windows, alloy wheels, and much more available in all models. Originally slated to be called the Amati, Mazda’s line of luxury class vehicles, it grew out of these preliminary designs. As a four-door sedan built with an economy of style, it does have a distinctive front end design. While it’s in stiff competition with its competitors, the Millenia’s performance, price, and great standard features put it in class of its own.
The 1996 Mazda Millenia base model and L model come equipped with a 2.5-liter V-6. Designed for better performance, the S model comes equipped with a powerful and sporty Miller-cycle 2.3-liter V-6 with supercharger that can run up to 210 horsepower. Handling and braking are smooth and efficient. Shifting during hard acceleration can be rough, though.
