GMC Savana Cargo Van Model Details - NADAguides
Today, on our 2014 GMC Savana Van, we will be taking a look at installing the curt custom-fit class three trailer hitch receiver, part number 13040. And here's what our curt receiver hitch is going to look like once it's installed. You can see that it's going to be nice and tucked up underneath the back with that square tube only being visible from the underneath and from a distance on that back side. It's going to have a real nice, attractive look on the back of your vehicle. With its black powder-coat finish and fully welded design, it's going to be both durable and resistant to any kind of rust and corrosion. It's going to have a 5/8 inch pinhole going straight through for the attachment of any accessories that you're going to want to place on, and heavy-duty plate-steel type chain tie-downs on the bottom. With its two inch by two inch receiver tube opening, you're going to be able to carry a solid 600 pounds of ton weight and 6,000 pounds towing capacity without weight distribution. With weight distribution, that's going to go up to 10,000 pounds towing capacity, that's your trailer with all your accessories, and a 1,000 pound ton weight capacity. I'm going to go ahead and give you a few measurements to help you in selecting hitch accessories for your new hitch. From the center of the pinhole to the outermost edge of the bumper, it's going to be about three inches.
