Today we're going to be taking a look a the Lippert Components Bolt-On Shock Mounting Kit with Heavy Duty Oil Shocks. Now shocks are designed to efficiently manage axle spring movement, which is going to provide a smoother, more comfortable ride. Kits are available for 2-3/8" axle tubes and 3" axle tubes. For 2-3/8" it would be part number LC281255, and for a 3" it would be part number LC281281. Bolt-on shock kits are going to absorb road shock and vibrations to provide a more comfortable towing experience. These kits have also been known to help reduce tire wear. When it's compressed, the tube, just the yellow portion, is going to give us a length measurement of about 8-5/8".
