Dave - A noisy pump is usually a sign that your pump's motor bearings are going. Most pool owners replace the pump's motor at this stage. A tuneup kit will not solve this problem. You could also pull the motor out and check the impeller. If it is damaged, it could be rubbing on the side of the pump housing.

  • Refresh the power house of your Volvo with this all inclusive Tune Up Kit. This kit has everything you'll need to restore your Volvo's power and efficiency including spark plugs, ignition wires, a distributor cap, a distributor rotor, and an air filter. leak under pump basket? Had a new 1 hp 1081 pool motor installed at least 2-3 years ago and everything ok until this past month keeping a watch on water slowly leaking from under pump basket. Would a tuneup kit take care of this problem? How difficult is installation?
